55th Reunion
The 55th reunion was held at the beautiful facilities of the Long Beach Marriott Hotel near the airport on September 17-19, 2010.
The festivities began at 8:30am on Friday with a scramble-format golf tournament at the Meadowlark Golf Course in Huntington Beach.
A no-cost reception was held on Friday night (6:00-10:00pm) in an outdoor terrace setting overlooking the hotel pool.
Saturday night began with a special reception (5:00-6:00pm) for those who donated $150 or more to help keep the total reunion costs down. That was followed by a general social hour before assembling for the banquet at 7:00pm in the ballroom. Dancing was advertized until midnight but almost everyone was gone by 10:30pm!
A farewell breakfast was held from 9:00 to 11:00am where classmates said good-byes for another five years.
Darlene (Busby) Quinn served admirably as chairman of the reunion committee for this reunion, putting in countless hours in coordinating all of the committee members and their responsibilities.
