COVER LETTER (p. 1 of 3)

70th Reunion of Long Beach Wilson High School, Class of 1955
Thursday, October 9, 2025, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
 Casual Attire

Hof’s Hut, 12489 Seal Beach Blvd, Seal Beach, CA 90740. (562) 799 9552
Located ½ mile north of the 405 Freeway at the Seal Beach Blvd. exit, and 1.5 miles south of Katella Ave. Hof’s Hut entrance is on the north side of the building.

Reservation Page: The following page lists a menu of 11 choices. Please follow the instructions on that page if you plan to attend the reunion luncheon, and mail it as directed with your $40 refundable reservation deposit. Thanks to prior generous gifts from classmates, the reunion committee has voted to pay the cost of the reunion luncheon for the FIRST 60 (the limit for our room) who complete and mail the menu selection and $40 check no later than September 15th. We had 50 attend the 68th reunion, so hopefully we will have 60 reservations for our 70th. We felt that requiring a $40 deposit would encourage those who made a reservation to show up to receive a refund of their deposit at the event, thus not depriving another classmate who would have attended the reunion. Those who register after Sept. 15 will be put on a waiting list in case another classmate must cancel. If you need to cancel your reservation before Sept. 15, please contact Joe Steins, and your deposit will be returned to you. Cancellations after Sept. 25 will be refunded only if another classmate on the waiting list can be substituted.

Survey Page: The last page is a survey for our classmates. All our reunion committee members have already completed this survey. So, we are now sending the survey to all other classmates, hoping for a similar response. This is a voluntary and confidential survey, and you are free to respond only to queries which you choose. The summarized results will be posted on our website after the reunion. No one’s name will be disclosed. Joe Steins, Chairman of the Reunion Committee, will be the only one to read and summarize the responses. It takes less than an hour to complete. While some of the queries are perhaps a bit silly, there are a couple that may require a bit of thinking before writing a response. The deadline for return of your survey is also Sept. 15. Even if you are not planning on attending the 70th reunion luncheon, PLEASE return the survey so that any changes to your email address, residence address, and/or telephone number can be provided to us in order to update our records. It will also show us your interest in having a mini-reunion in 2028 and our 75th reunion in 2030.
